About the Course

What is MD / MS?

MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery) are 3-year postgraduate medical specialisations regulated by the National Medical Commission (NMC). MD covers medical (non-surgical) branches; MS covers surgical disciplines.

The programme combines classroom teaching, clinical postings, a thesis / dissertation, and intensive ward and OT exposure — preparing graduates to practice as specialists in any NMC-recognised hospital across India and abroad.

Eligibility Criteria

  • MBBS degree from an NMC-recognised medical college
  • Completed (or completing) 1-year compulsory rotatory internship
  • Permanent / provisional registration with state medical council or NMC
  • Qualified NEET-PG in the same admission year (or INI-CET for INIs)
